After 3 years of research, these are special coating variants that mimic the original coatings offered by:

Oberheim - ie OBXa, OB8, DX, etc

Sequential - ie Pro One. Prophet T8, Prophet 5

EMU - ieEI, EII and EIII

Hohner - Organs from 60’s and 70’s

LINN - ie LM2

ARP -ie Sequncer

and more from around 1964 to 1989

PLEASE NOTE THESE ARE NOT THE COLOURS USED : They are shown like this in various colours to highlight the two stage effect and to closely show the pattern effect. If they were all black it would be hard to choose between. These are blown up images so ‘pattern’ will be closer knitted.

Please note, it is impossible to get every ‘pattern’ identical to these, or indeed your synth / drum machine, but to-date, we believe we are the only ones offering this. Extra pictures show the texture on original equipment.

It is an expensive, time consuming process and is offered as an option if you want your restoration to have the ‘look’ of original.

Obviously they would be done in two stage black, grey etc to suit the project.

Previously the internet said it could not be done, we believe it now can !

Please add 2 weeks to any project with this method.

Alternative is that we can coat in a modern textured finish at no extra cost to your restoration or new shell parts.
