A very high spec STTUDER 189 MK II Class A console has very little sonic /sound competition, not much on build quality and reliability ether ! It’s described as a Swiss Neve, it’s hand built and it’s rare, especially in the spec and condition.

The Mark II has all the development from the glorious MKI and is much more than just x 2 SUDER 089’s.

The design is compact with ALL modules incl power supply under the console, plug and play. It can operate with almost any module removed, except power !

ALL death caps were removed and replaced and slew rate increased with chip replacements.

It is spotless inside, really looked after.

It cost an absolute fortune new ! $27,000 in late 60’s for the MKI plus options….

It’s a class console, it’s been serviced regular up to 3 years ago and has just been used almost daily since… ALL line amps and power supply were fully serviced and recapped where needed.

I’d say it’s 95% functional, with some routine maintenance required. I have a spare power supply and some NOS parts that will go with it.

Regarded as the finest STUDER console ever made, this, my, console is only being offered to part fund a large upcoming project.
